Indian scientists create biodegradable electronic ink

A group from IISc Bengaluru has developed an eco-friendly conductive ink made from plant polymers and copper nanoflakes. This biodegradable ink can be used for printed electronics like RFID tags, sensors, and flexible circuits, instead of traditional toxic inks. Lab tests show stability of six months and soil biodegradation within one year. Researchers are in discussions with electronics manufacturers to scale production.
